Freshman opposite Kyle Ensing put down a match-high 13 kills and No. 1 Long Beach State handed No. 7 Hawaii its sixth loss in seven matches, sweeping the Rainbow Warriors 25-14, 25-20, 25-19 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Freshman hitter TJ DeFalco finished with his second double-double of his Honolulu visit with 11 kills and a match-high 15 digs for the 49ers (15-2, 12-2 MPSF), who won their ninth straight.

Senior hitter Siki Zarkovic, junior hitter Kupono Fey and freshman opposite Stijn van Tilburg all had eight kills for Hawaii (10-7, 5-7).

It was the first time Hawaii was swept at home since UC Irvine did so on Jan. 11 of last season, a span of 24 matches.

The Warriors next host No. 2 BYU (13-2, 9-2) on Wednesday and Friday.
