21K gallons of sewage spills into Waimano Stream in Pacific Palisades
The state Department of Health is warning the public that 21,000 gallons of sewage spilled this afternoon into Waimano Stream in Pacific Palisades in Pearl City.
The city notified the Health Department of the sewage spill from noon to 3:30 p.m. after a 10-inch main broke at the Pacific Palisades Pump Station.
The city posted warning signs and is advising the public to stay out of waters in the area until the signs are removed.
The stream leads to Pearl Harbor.
