Water main break closes portion of Kamehameha Highway in Aiea
Board of Water Supply crews are working to repair a 12-inch water main near Pearl Kai Shopping Center Friday night.
The closure was reported around 9 p.m. at 98-159 Kamehameha Highway.
All eastbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway are closed between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street and will remain closed while crews work to repair.
The Board of Water Supply reported several customers are without water including McDonald’s, Firestone Auo Care, Sumida Watercress Farm and some apartment units on Lipoa Place.
Two water wagons are located on Lipoa Place are available for affected customers.
Repairs are expected to continue throughout the day and into the evening, officials said.
