Police investigate stabbing in Kailua
Honolulu police arrested a 37-year-old Kailua man in connection with a stabbing in Kailua Friday morning.
Police said the suspect stabbed a 40-year-old man in the stomach at about 2 a.m.
Officers located the suspect at 6:20 a.m. at his home and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree assault.
No information was released on the condition of the victim. Police also did not release specific information on the location of the incident.
The suspect was released Friday night, pending further investigation.
