Police capture juvenile detainees after escape in Kaneohe
Two juvenile offenders are back in custody after a fleeing from authorities during an outing Tuesday.
Police said the two boys, ages 18 and 16, who are confined to a detention facility in Windward Oahu, fled during an outing at a shopping center in Kaneohe around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Police reported the two as escapees.
They were caught shortly after and arrested without incident.
