Woman shot to death at Maili home

A woman, about 60 years old, was pronounced dead this afternoon at a Maili home located at 87-436 Farrington Highway, Emergency Services Department spokesman Ian Santee said.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman this afternoon at a home in Maili.
Emergency Services Department spokesman Ian Santee said a woman, about 60 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency Medical Services paramedics responded at 3:44 p.m.
The home is located at 87-436 Farrington Highway, near Maili Beach Park and St. Johns Road.
Police in Waianae have confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death.
Initially, radio dispatch said the woman had been shot in the leg, but later Honolulu Police Department radio communications indicated one person had died.
