City, federal crews battle brushfire in Ewa Beach

Firefighters responded to a brush fire today on Keaunui Drive near the Ewa Gentry community center.
Firefighters are battling a brush fire this afternoon in Ewa Beach.
Honolulu and federal firefighters were at the scene in the area of Iroquois Road about 3 p.m.
Firefighters were positioning themselves between the fire and houses in the area, according to radio communications. Hampering firefighting efforts was a lack of water supply, leaving firefighters to bring in water on trucks.
