Amy Schumer says she was hospitalized this summer with bronchitis in Hawaii while shooting a film with Goldie Hawn. As a guest on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Schumer said she had difficulty speaking, was bedridden and coughed so much that she fractured some ribs.

The comedian says she was hospitalized this summer with bronchitis while shooting a film with Goldie Hawn in Hawaii.
As a guest Monday night on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Schumer said she had difficulty speaking, was bedridden and coughed so much that she fractured some ribs.
“Hawaii — it didn’t totally agree with me,” Schumer joked.
The comedian, who is publicizing her book “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo,” is taking a break from her sketch-comedy series “Inside Amy Schumer” so she can tour and focus on writing.

She probably got pulmonary edema from that long flight to Hawaii. You can cough so hard that it breaks your ribs, yes. Try asking your doctor to prescribe you some Lasix or generic diuretics. It will remove water from the lungs and the whole body. No harm taking this drug as you can always drink water if you feel thirst. Diuretics are useful to help clear your lungs of excess water and can be used temporarily like starting a day before the flight and for about a week after that. Absolutely removes the coughing bout. Lasix will make you urinate more than normal and is somewhat irritating to the bladder which makes you run to the toilet more frequently. Only warming is to increase your Potassium intake as the kidneys will leach it out. Just eat a banana every day. If your doctor won’t give you Lasix/Furosemide just wait until you land in a foreign country. They don’t have any scams where you need a doctor’s Rx to get medical drugs. Finally diuretics are given to patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) who have this distinctive cough that will not respond to cough syrup or any anti-tussives. Diuretics will dry out the lungs and you can continue on your vacation. One nice side effect is your inner tube around your waist slims down so you might like to stay on this drug. I think bodybuilders use this to dehydrate themselves before contest to make their muscles stand out from the thinner dehydrated skin. This is also used in race horses to prevent again pulmonary edema, but is banned for use on racetracks. Google DIURETICS and learn as much as you can. It is a very useful and safe drug you might wish you knew about a long time ago.
While Schumer was filming with Goldie Hawn in Hawaii, she also did three standup shows, all of which, if I remember correctly, were benefits for Everytown for Gun Safety.

The “fat chick” you never heard of just pumped millions $ into our economy this summer. The movie employed the Hawaii 5-0 crew in their off time. I cashed a few checks myself as an extra on the movie. BTW glad you identify her as a “fat chick” that’s part of her comedy routine that made her very rich and very famous
