UH soccer wins at Air Force
Addie Steiner scored twice on assists from Raisa Strom-Okimoto and Hawaii earned its best record through nine games of a soccer season with a 2-1 win at Air Force today.
UH (7-1-1) went 2-1 on its three-game Colorado road trip to complete its nonconference schedule.
Steiner scored in the fourth and 21st minutes, giving her four goals on the season, tied with Strom-Okimoto for team-high honors. Strom-Okimoto raised her assist count to five, tied for tops among Big West players.
Air Force (2-2-1) got one back in the 75th minute on a Kaitlyn Cook score, but the Falcons couldn’t muster the equalizer from there despite a 14-9 shots advantage for the game.
The 1998 Rainbow Wahine were 7-2 through nine games.

Congratulations to coach Nagamine and the Wahine.
Wow, two wins at altitude. A very promising start to the season. Go Wahine!
Go,Go, Go all the way !
And one more thing, it’s “Wahine” soccer. “UH Soccer” implies there is a men’s soccer team. UH fields only a women’s soccer team.
Will OC sports televise a soccer game this season.
