Police make arrest in one of five Saturday robberies

Police arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday in connection with the robbery of a business that was one of five held up on Saturday.

The man, of no local address, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery on Walker Avenue in Wahiawa at about 10:35 a.m. Police did not say if the man was a suspect in more than one of the robberies.

The series of robberies began at about 6:35 p.m. in Waimalu when a male entered a store, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash.

About a half-hour later, a male suspect entered a Waipahu store and demanded money while brandishing a weapon.

Then at about 7:50 p.m., a male with a weapon took money and property from a retail establishment in Pearl City, police said. Two males assisted the suspect in that incident.

At about 8:30 p.m., a suspect with a weapon took money and property from an Aiea business.

And a male entered an Ewa Beach business at about 9:05 p.m., brandished a weapon, and demanded money, police said.

If a person is convicted of a crime where a firearm is used… an additional 5, or 10, or 20 years (depending on the severity, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree) is tacked onto the sentence already handed down by the judge. In other words, if the guy is convicted and is sentenced to say 10 years… an additional 10 years is added to that sentence because he used a gun. And there is not a single thing the judge can do about it. 20 years baby.

Looking down on ya’ll from my home state– I see a plea deal coming. Firearm charge will be dismissed. Robbery bopped down to attempted theft. 2 years probation with credit for time served.

Show his pic. If he is involved in any of the other robberies with other suspects, the public might know who he hangs out with. That way, public might be able to identify them. So far saw only one video, though. Don’t tell me the other businesses don’t have video cameras in their stores.

The black guy on camera looked like he didn’t care whether Black Lives Matter. Add him to the system where 80% of the people in prison on the mainland are black. Black lives don’t matter when you have to lead a life of crime throwing your life away.
