Water main break closes School Street in Nuuanu
All lanes of School Street between the Pali Highway and Nuuanu Avenue will remain closed overnight and into tomorrow due to a water main break.
Crews continue repair work on the 24-inch main that broke earlier this morning, a Board of Water Supply spokeswoman said.
The break in the 24-inch transmission line on School Street was reported around midnight.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The Board of Water Supply said all customers continue to have water service. None is directly served by the broken water main.
