Moped crash in Waipahu critically injures man
A 62-year-old man was taken to a hospital in critical condition after he struck a parked vehicle with his moped in Waipahu.
At about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said the man was traveling south on Lumioahu Street on a moped when he veered to the left of the roadway and struck a parked vehicle.
Speed, alcohol or drugs were not factors in the accident.
Police are continuing their investigation.

Nuff already with the mopeds hitting all these parked cars. I suggest we get rid of all those darn parked cars to eliminate the potential for more moped injuries.

The parked car must have jumped in front of him.
Reminds me of folks getting killed by moving trains.
The trains jumped off the tracks and chased the pedestrians.
After hitting them… jumped back on the tracks.
