>> Cuisinart is recalling about 8 million food processors in the U.S. because pieces of the metal blade can break off into processed food. For more information, customers can call the company at 877-339-2534 from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hawaii time Monday through Friday and 4 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday, or visit cuisinart.com and click on “Product Recalls” at the bottom of the page. A story on Page B4 Monday said the time to call Cuisinart Monday through Friday was 2 to 6 a.m.

Clarification

>> The state Public Utilities Commission temporarily denied a request to use a green infrastructure fund to pay private companies directly for solar systems and will reconsider the request later. A headline on Page B4 Tuesday said the request was denied.
