Woman arrested in Keeaumoku on gambling charges

Police arrested a 53-year-old woman on suspicion of illegal gambling in the Ala Moana area.

The suspect was arrested during a raid at 1519 Liona St. Tuesday night on suspicion of gambling and possession of a possible gambling device.

Honolulu Police Spokeswoman Michelle Yu said the Narcotics/Vice Division executed a gambling search warrant at the building. More than a dozen gambling devices were removed by officers.

A source said police raided the first two floors of the building.

Police arrested the 53-year-old woman at the scene. She was later released after she posted $400 bail.

Police are continuing their investigation.
