Man arrested for assaulting police officer
A 54-year-old man allegedly assaulted a police officer who was responding to a domestic argument in Waipahu today.
When officers arrived at about 5:55 p.m., the man allegedly assaulted one of them.
Police arrested him on suspicion of misdemeanor abuse of a 24-year-old woman and first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer, a felony.
