State sheriffs are looking for a 33-year-old furlough inmate who failed to return to the Hale Nani Reintegration Center on Hawaii island.

Alexander Hill was scheduled to return to the center in Panaewa by 4:15 p.m. Monday. Police were immediately notified.

Hill is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is serving a sentence for abuse of a family or household member. The public safety department said his parole hearing is scheduled for December.

Anyone with information on Hill’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
