UH hoops gets another Aussie big man
The Hawaii basketball team has secured a commitment from an Australian big man for the second time in three months, as 6-foot-11 power forward Owen Hulland has pledged his services to the Rainbow Warriors starting in 2018.
More:
Hulland plays for the Centre of Excellence in Canberra. He’s a “stretch 4” who has displayed shooting ability to go with rebounding and shot blocking. He took a recruiting visit to UH in early October and also took a trip to Saint Mary’s.
The Adelaide native can make his commitment official during the early signing period, Nov. 8 to 15.
UH already had a commitment from Hulland’s frontcourt teammate at the Centre of Excellence, 6-10 center Mate Colina. Colina is expected to sign during the early period and join UH at the 2017-18 semester break.
