Junior hitter McKenna Granato put down 14 kills without an error and Hawaii swept UC Davis 25-18, 25-11, 25-12 in a Big West volleyball match tonight in 78 minutes in Davis, Calif.
Granato, hitting a career-high .609 and passed the 700-kill mark for her career (708). senior libero Savanah Kahakai moved to No. 3 on the program’s all-time digs list with eight digs (1,388). Senior hitter Kalei Greeley had a team-high 12 digs for Hawaii, which used all 14 on the travel roster and outblocked Davis 9-2.
The Rainbow Wahine (19-7, 13-2 Big West), who won their fourth straight, conclude the regular season at UC Irvine on Saturday (6 p.m.).
The Aggies (16-13, 8-8) were led by freshman hitter Mahalia White’s 13 kills. Junior libero Malia Bolko added a match-high 14 digs.
