Armed thief threatens duo in Hawaii Kai, police say
Police are investigating a robbery in Hawaii Kai where a male suspect allegedly threatened two people with a gun.
At about 2:50 p.m. Thursday, police said a 30-year-old man and 37-year-old woman confronted the suspect after they saw him stealing property from their vehicle.
The suspect brandished a gun and fled in a separate vehicle.
Police said the man and woman followed them and called 911. At some point, the suspect exited his vehicle and threatened the two while wielding his gun.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the suspect fled. No arrests have been at this time.
