Teen charged with assault at Ewa Beach restaurant
A 16-year-old boy has been charged after he allegedly assaulted another teen at a fast-food restaurant in Ewa Beach.
The teen was charged with third-degree assault.
Campbell High School sent a letter to parents Friday to inform them of the assault that involved students who were harassed by the suspect.
At about 4 p.m. Thursday, police and Campbell High said the students were at the fast-food restaurant when the male suspect approached them and asked for money.
When one of the students, 16, told the suspect to stop bothering them and leave, the suspect brandished a gun and struck the victim, causing injury.
