Police arrest 3 teens suspected in Kapolei robberies

Police arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with two robberies in Kapolei.

At about 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, police said two male suspects, both 19, assaulted a 28-year-old man and wielded an unspecified dangerous instrument. The perpetrators demanded the victim’s property and fled.

Three hours later, police said one of two culprits involved in the first robbery, along with a 17-year-old boy, allegedly robbed a 22-year-old man who was at a bus stop.

Police arrested all three suspects in Kapolei at about 7:15 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
