Heavy traffic prompts DOT to keep Zipper Lane open until 9:30 a.m.

Town-bound traffic was still heavy at 9:10 a.m. today on the H-1 at Kaahumanu.
The Zipper Lane was opened until through 9:30 a.m. because of heavier-than-usual traffic due to multiple traffic accidents earlier this morning.
During rush hour, there were two traffic accidents on the H-3 freeway, one on the Pali Highway near the hairpin turn and one on the H-1 eastbound near the Waiawa overpass.
