Youngsters and their families got a taste of science and its possibilities during the Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on April 28. The event, sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, featured activities like a rocket launch, Lego car races and dissecting a sheep’s brain. Polynesian Voyaging Society president and navigator Nainoa Thompson was also on hand.
