A water main break forced the closure of a block of Coral Street in Kakaako early this morning. However, most of the block had been reopened within hours.
Minor flooding from a broken water main on Coral Street between Auahi and Pohukaina streets was reported shortly before 4 a.m. by police. By 7 a.m., most of the street had been reopened. However, Coral Street at the intersection with Pohukaina Street remained closed.
The street hosts a significant portion of the free public parking in the area.
