Whole Foods offering Hawaii customers Prime discount starting Wednesday
Amazon Prime members in Hawaii on Wednesday are scheduled to be eligible for special discounts at Whole Foods Market stores — such as $9-per-pound savings on sustainably caught yellowfin tuna steaks, Amazon and Whole Foods announced today.
The savings for Amazon Prime members will expand to 10 more states, including Hawaii.
The discounts include $2-per-pound savings on organic yellow nectarines and peaches; buy one, get one free purchases of Annie’s Natural Macaroni & Cheese; and $3-per-pound savings on made-in-house pork sausage, with no antibiotics.
The companies said there also will be 10-percent reductions of “hundreds of sale items throughout the store.”
“We’re excited that Prime savings will be available at nearly half of our Whole Foods Market stores this week, giving more Prime members access to great deals just in time for summer,” A.C. Gallo, president and chief operating officer at Whole Foods Market, said in a statement. “Based on the positive customer feedback and successes we’ve seen over the past month, we’re accelerating our timeline to expand these savings to all of our U.S. stores.”
Starting Wednesday, the Amazon Prime discounts will be available in 365 stores in 23 states, including Hawaii.
