Early morning Ewa Beach fire quickly extinguished

A fire an Ewa Beach home was quickly brought under control this morning, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.

Fire crews were dispatched to 91-1320 Kamahoi St., at 4:28 and found a two-story single family home was ablaze, with black smoke coming from a second story window in the back.

HFD said five adults inside managed to escape without injuries.

The fire was extinguished at 4:53 a.m., and remains under investigation.
