One man was killed and another was injured after crashing their mopeds in Wahiawa on Saturday.
One man was killed and another was injured after crashing their mopeds in Wahiawa on Saturday.
The City and County of Honolulu Dept. of Emergency Services said three men were involved in an “unknown mechanism of collision” at Wilikina Drive and Kaukonahua Road that was reported at 7:53 p.m. and sent one rider, 24, to a trauma hospital after being treated by EMS.
A second male, approximately 25 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to EMS, none of the moped operators were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. No information was provided about the condition of the third man in the group.
