Police arrest suspected purse snatcher in Waikiki
Police arrested an adult male suspect after he reportedly stole a visitor’s purse in Waikiki Wednesday night.
Police said the suspect, of no local address, grabbed the victim’s purse off of a table at a restaurant at approximately 11:05 p.m.
Police apprehended the culprit and the purse that contained the visitor’s cell phone and cash was recovered.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
