Hawaii island police charged a 21-year-old Hilo man in connection with a robbery on Haili Street on Monday.
Elijah Lopez was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and fourth-degree theft.
He is being held in lieu of $12,250 bail.
