Waipahu stabbing leaves man in critical condition; police open attempted murder case
Police have initiated an attempted murder investigation involving a 19-year-old man who was reportedly attacked by a group of males in Waipahu.
Police said the perpetrators assaulted the victim at approximately 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Pupuole Street and Pupuole Place.
Emergency Medical Services personnel performed advanced life-saving treatment on the victim who was unresponsive with stab wounds when police found him.
He was taken to a trauma hospital in critical condition.
There are no arrests at this time.
