Man arrested in Kailua after allegedly threatening ex-girlfriend, assaulting cop

Police arrested a 30-year-old man Monday in Kailua for allegedly threatening to kill his 22-year-old ex-girlfriend and for multiple firearms offenses.

The man allegedly threatened the woman between 12:10 a.m. and 12:51 a.m. multiple times that he would kill her.

Police arrested him at 12:51 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree assault of a police officer, a weapons charge, and two counts of possessing a high-capacity magazine.
