Woman, 2 others kidnap her ex-boyfriend in Waikiki and steal his car, police say
Honolulu police are investigating an alleged kidnapping involving a man who reported that his ex-girlfriend and two others terrorized him in Waikiki.
Police said the ex-girlfriend, another woman and a man entered the victim’s apartment in Waikiki at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and threatened to harm him.
They allegedly forced him into his vehicle and drove around the island while one of the suspects brandished an unspecified dangerous instrument at him.
Police said the victim escaped at about 10 a.m. but the culprits fled in the victim’s vehicle and are still at-large.
The case is being investigated by the Honolulu Police Department’s Domestic Violence Detail.
