Oahu flood advisory expires but rains may return Monday

An Oahu flood advisory Sunday has expired after heavy rain subsided.

A flood advisory for Oahu expired Sunday evening but the National Weather Service in Honolulu says the threat of afternoon showers will persist Monday.

Forecasters said this weekend’s pattern of light winds and afternoon showers should continue for one more day.

Drier tradewind weather with windward and mauka showers is expected to return Tuesday through Thursday, while Friday through May 5 could see wet and unstable conditions.
