Maui girl, 6, suffers head injury in ocean at Kaupo
A 6-year-old Maui girl injured her head this morning while playing in the ocean at Kaupo, according to Maui’s Department of Fire and Public Safety.
A family member grabbed the girl out of the large surf and brought her to shore, officials said.
Firefighters then took spinal precautions and carried the girl to an ambulance, officials said.
