Police investigating shooting in Nanakuli
Honolulu police have launched a first-degree assault investigation in connection with a shooting in Nanakuli.
Police said two men, ages 37 and 39, were involved in an argument at about 11:30 p.m. Monday when the 37-year-old man shot the victim.
The 39-year-old man sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his thigh.
A witness drove him to to the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center for treatment.
Police said the suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
The two men are known to one another.
