Honolulu police find illegal fireworks, drugs in Moanalua raid

Honolulu police seized illegal fireworks and drugs during a raid at a home in Moanalua Wednesday.
Illegal fireworks and drugs were found during a raid at a home in Moanalua on Wednesday, the Honolulu Police Department said.
Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of Ala Amoamo Street sometime before 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.
In addition to illegal fireworks and drugs at the home, police found 11 dogs and turned them over to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
Police arrested a 54-year-old man on suspicion of possession of illegal fireworks, promotion of a dangerous drug and promotion of a detrimental drug.
