Gov. David Ige held a bill signing ceremony at 1:30 p.m. today for the following gun violence prevention bills passed during this year’s session of the Hawaii State Legislature:

>> HB490: Relating to Crimes Against Seniors

>> HB31: Relating to Firearms

>> HB1366: Relating to Firearms

Ige is scheduled to be joined by state Rep. Gregg Takayama, chair of the House Committee on Higher Education and Technology; state Sen. Karl Rhoads, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee; state Rep. Patrick Branco, vice chair of the House Committee on Water and Land; and Honolulu Police Department Capt. Brian Yamamoto.
