Accident involving city bus and vehicle in Zipper Lane in Aiea snarls morning traffic

The city bus and vehicle have been cleared from the scene and traffic is flowing normally.

An accident involving a city bus occurred in the Zipper Lane this morning in Aiea.

The Honolulu Police Department and Hawaii Department of Transportation said the accident involving the bus and a vehicle occurred on the right lane of the Zipper Lane just before 6:10 a.m.

The accident occurred east of the Kaimakani Street overpass, causing traffic gridlock. The left lane of the Zipper Lane is open.

There are no reports of any injuries.
