A confrontation led to the stabbing of a teenage boy early Saturday.

A Makiki man was sitting on his porch at 1:25 a.m. when he was approached by two males, including a 17-year-old who demanded a cigarette, police said. When the man said he did not have a cigarette, the youths pulled out knives and demanded property, police said.
