Police seek help in robbery of 67-year-old Hilo man

Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help in finding two men who robbed a 67-year-old Hilo man.

The man told police he was in the downtown Hilo area when two men accosted him 11 p.m. Oct. 28 and demanded money, police said.

One of them men may have been wearing a black jacket. 

The suspects assaulted the man causing him to lose consciousness after he told them he didn’t have any money, police said.

The man found his wallet was taken from him and discarded on the ground, police said.
