Eastside improves to 3-0 in Cal Ripken
The Eastside (Oahu) All-Stars are the lone remaining undefeated United States team in pool play following a 13-0 victory over the Kennewick (Wash.) American All-Stars on Tuesday in the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md.
Hawaii can clinch one of the two American division berths in the United States semifinals on Friday with either a win on Wednesday or a loss by Charles County (Md.) later today.
Nicolas Benner went 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs to lead Eastside.
