» Federal law requires boats to maintain a distance of 100 yards from a humpback whale inside and outside the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. A story headlined "Lower boat speed limit sought for whales’ sake" on Feb. 25 on Page B1 incorrectly said the distance applied only to sanctuary waters.

» State Sen. Russell Ruderman was identified as a state representative in "The Last Word" quote on Page A17 Monday.

» State Rep. Sylvia Luke is chairwoman of the House Finance Committee. A "Get Involved" calendar item on Page B3 Monday said Rep. Marcus Oshiro was the committee’s chairman.

» Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s Hono­lulu Clinic will take walk-in patients after its Urgent Care Center at 1010 Pensacola St. closes Saturday. A story on Page B5 on March 7 said the clinic would not take walk-in patients after the closure.
