Nellie Lee of Waikiki arrived at Machu Picchu, Peru, carrying her own sign of Hawaiian life — literally. She visited Machu Picchu earlier this month, retracing the steps of Hiram Bingham III, the explorer and historian who brought the 15th-century city to world attention in 1911.
