Stabbing victim identified as Waipahu man
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office identified Monday the 28-year-old man who died after he was stabbed early Monday morning as MC Eis of Waipahu.
Eis died of blunt impact of head and penetrating injury of the torso, the Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Police have opened a murder investigation and have been looking for suspects.
Ambulance crews brought Eis to the hospital in extremely critical condition from Pupupuhi and Pupumomi streets after the 12:27 a.m. stabbing.
