Ben Clarke has signed a free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Former University of Hawaii football player Ben Clarke has signed a free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Out of everyone, I thought they showed the most interest,” said Clarke, who also received pre-draft inquiries from the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans. “I’m excited about it.”
Clarke said he spent the day watching most of the NFL draft with his family.
“I kind of thought I wasn’t going to get drafted so it wasn’t that big of a deal,” Clark said of not being selected.
Clarke played center for two years with UH before shifting to left tackle for the final two years of his college career. He is projected to play center or guard with the Chiefs.
The Chiefs showed extra attention to Clarke during last month’s pro day in Azusa, Calif. The Kansas City coach requested that Clarke snap the football in field drills instead of serving as a tackle.
Clarke said he received a text from a friend living near Kansas City..
“He said, ‘As soon as you get here, I’m taking you to get barbecue,’” Clarke said, laughing.

Was Clarke recruited by Chow or Mac? If Mac, then I know of no Chow recruits being drafted by the NFL. At least this year, Mr. Tsai has refrained from blowing smoke up everyone’s behind about how “improved” the players are like he did the last 2 years when Tsai insisted the players are “bigger, stronger, faster..” guess he got new prescription for his eyes or he got so embarrassed by his Chow’s rear end kissing ways that the putrid smell finally got to him.
Time to change your “depends”, drink your “ensure”, take your meds and go to bed.

Obviously you’re listening. Actually, you should pay close attention to what I write so that you can learn the difference between signing as a free agent and getting drafted. You shouldn’t criticize others when you don’t know the difference on something so basic. Then again, nothing comes easy for you, does it?
