We are beginning to learn a great deal about the current risks associated with climate change.
I applaud the excellent feature, “Against the tide” (Star-Advertiser, Insight, Oct. 14), and especially Professor Kem Lowry’s predictions and comments.
Knowing what’s coming and planning for it should not be rocket science. The Venetians, Dutch and Pacific Islanders have learned to live with flooding for ages.
Keep the focus on preparations and intelligent local government and industry plans for the inevitable rising tide.
