Outrigger Hotels & Resorts today announced three new executive appointments for the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger, which is slated to complete a $35 million renovation in March.

The guest rooms already have been overhauled as part of the renovation, which also includes the property’s meeting space, lobby, pool deck, public spaces and hotel exterior.

A new general manager Ike Cockett will preside over the renovated space. Other key appointments include Edwin Torres as assistant general manager and Shouma Moniz as director of sales and marketing.

“As we unveil Outrigger’s first upscale lifestyle hotel in Waikiki — we’re pleased to introduce a leadership team that has the experience and energy to match,” Mike Shaff, Outrigger’s vice president of hotel operations for Hawaii and Guam, said in a statement.

Outrigger, a privately held hospitality company, operates and/or has in development 38 properties and over 7,000 rooms in Hawaii, Fiji, Thailand, Guam, Mauritius and the Maldives.
