Teen charged with robbing 49-year-old woman in Kalihi
Prosecutors charged an 18-year-old man today for robbing a 49-year-old woman in Kalihi Sunday.
Tommy Welle was charged with first-degree robbery.
Police said the suspect allegedly brandished a dangerous instrument and took property from the woman at 6:10 a.m. and fled. Police later found him and arrested him without incident 40 minutes later.
Bail for Welle was set at $75,000.
