HTA is a waste of money.

Hawaii can’t get a grasp on “tech”. Look at that “health connector” fiasco.

    Now this?

  3. stanislous says:

Hard to believe that Anti-Business Hawaii is actually trying something modern and high tech. LOL. Will wonders never cease?

Why do people come to Hawaii? Make improvements on the pluses and reduce the negatives. Word of mouth is the best advertising!! Our politicians control the money and need to reset their priorities with a long term vision enhancing our natural assets. Tourism is our golden egg!

Seems a bit creepy to me. Besides, how can simply turning away from the screen equate to disinterest? Maybe the viewer is turning to a husband, wife, etc. “Hey look honey! Check this out!”. Junk science. Then again, the state of Hawaii is spending money on it, so I’m not really that surprised. 🙁

Sorry, even if I had a camera, which I don’t…too intrusive already, I wouldn’t let a stranger, or stranger’s app, look at me just to get my reaction.
Why not just try a couple buttons at the bottom of the picture, like “Nice” or “Not so nice”. That would keep strangers out of the home and still provide feedback.

Why does HTA need facial recognition technology? Makes no sense!!!
