Woman injures ankle on Lanikai trail, is airlifted to safety
Honolulu fire personnel rescued a woman who was hiking in Lanikai Wednesday afternoon.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said the woman received a minor injury to her foot at about 5:15 p.m. while hiking the Pillbox Trail.
Rescue personnel treated her injury, and she was airlifted out, Seelig said.
